Adoption

• All potential adopters must complete and submit an official adoption application.
• Kitty’s Kitten Rescue will conduct reference checks and a background check as part of the screening process to ensure the well-being of our kittens. We reserve the right to deny any application for any reason.

• A non-refundable adoption fee is required to finalize the adoption. This fee helps cover a portion of the rescue’s costs for spaying/neutering, vaccinations, and other medical care.

• Before adoption, all kittens will have received at least their first set of vaccinations.
• The spay/neuter status of each kitten will be disclosed at the time of adoption. Some kittens may be fixed before adoption, while others may require the adopter to complete the procedure when the kitten is old enough, as specified in the adoption contract.  The Spay/Neuter contract must be signed and fulfilled.
• Kitty’s Kitten Rescue makes no guarantees regarding the future health or temperament of any adopted kitten. Any known health or temperament issues will be disclosed to the adopter prior to adoption. Adopters accept the animal “as-is” and assume all risks and responsibility for the animal’s care.

• The adopter is solely responsible for all veterinary bills and ongoing care of the adopted kitten(s) immediately upon taking possession.
• Kitty’s Kitten Rescue is not responsible for any costs incurred after the adoption date, including but not limited to vaccines, wellness visits, and medical procedures.

• If, for any reason, the adopter is unable or unwilling to continue caring for the kitten(s), the kitten(s) must be returned directly to Kitty’s Kitten Rescue. Under no circumstances should the kitten(s) be rehomed to another party or surrendered to another rescue or shelter.

Surrender of Kitten(s)

• Kitty’s Kitten Rescue only accepts orphaned kittens (those who have lost their mother or been abandoned). We will not accept kittens that are simply being removed from their mother or needing to be rehomed for whatever reason.
• Kitty’s Kitten Rescue reverses the right to refuse any kitten(s) for any reason.

• By surrendering a kitten to Kitty’s Kitten Rescue, the finder or previous owner relinquishes all ownership rights to the animal.
• If a finder wishes to reclaim a surrendered kitten after it has been weaned and made available for adoption, they must go through the standard adoption process, including application, screening, and payment of the adoption fee.

Donations

• All donations, whether made directly, through a wish list, or via PayPal, are considered non-refundable gifts.
• Donations go directly to the care of the kittens, including medical treatment, food, supplies, and facility costs.

Privacy

• Kitty’s Kitten Rescue collects personal information from adopters, volunteers, and donors for internal purposes, including processing adoption applications and maintaining donor records.
• We will not share, sell, or rent your personal information to third parties, except as necessary to complete the adoption process or to aid a specific kitten (e.g., sharing medical history with a veterinarian).

• While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, no data transmission over the internet can be guaranteed as completely secure. User submissions are made at your own risk.

Site Policy

• All media and content on the Kitty’s Kitten Rescue website and social media pages, including but not limited to pictures, text, and videos, are the exclusive property of Kitty’s Kitten Rescue.
• No one may use, copy, store, or download any media or content without prior written consent from Kitty’s Kitten Rescue
• This includes reproduction for personal use or sharing with third parties.

Accuracy of Information

• All information provided on this site is accurate to the best of our knowledge. However, the information is not a substitute for professional veterinary advice. For any medical needs concerning a cat or kitten, you should always seek professional veterinary care.

User Conduct

• Comments and communication on our site and social media are subject to moderation. Users must not engage in spamming, hate speech, inappropriate remarks, or any other form of harassment.
• Any AI-generated content on this site is the property of Kitty’s Kitten Rescue.  Kitty’s Kitten Rescue does use AI generate content along with organic content.

Product Recommendations

• The products we list are ones that have been used by the rescue and are recommended based on our experience. However, every kitten is an individual, and what works for one may not work for another.

No Direct Sales

• We do not directly sell, handle, ship, or process payments for any products listed on our site. All transactions are handled by the third-party merchant.

• We do not guarantee the availability of items or the price of products. Product availability and pricing are subject to the policies of the third-party merchant.
